Will and Katie

Our life together began when I asked Will to be my friend on Myspace (I was by no means looking for a relationship, I was loving Single life :-). After he accepted, we started chatting back and forth and before I knew it he was asking me to meet up with him for drinks on his birthday. I mean, we have known each other since elementary school (grew up 2 streets from each other and I was 2 years ahead of him at the same school) but hadn't seen each other in a long time (once at his work when I went in for an oil change)!! So, I did not meet up with him (my excuse was that the bar was too far from home and I didn't want to drink and drive) on his birthday. But low and behold, the night after his birthday, I was talking to him on the phone and he was going out with some friends, him and his friends talked me into meeting up with them. We had a riot. There was not awkward moments of not knowing what to say to each other. After that night we hung out a lot, he fixed my car and the next thing I know...I am in a serious relationship and loving it!! Six months later here we are so in LOVE!! In fact, this past Sunday after spending a wonderful weekend with my family at the cabin we went to his mom's house for the night to see "Nanna". We brought Will's daughter Taylor, my nephews Michael and Bryce and my niece Ciera. Let me tell ya...I give props to those of you with 4 kids!! They sure keep ya busy!! Anyways, we finally found some alone time and we were sitting on the hammock by the pond. He kept looking at me with a nervous laugh. I couldn't figure out what was going on. Next thing I know, he is telling me that he was thinking what would make him the happiest person in the world and he pulled out the most beautiful diamond ring I have ever seen!! I was in SHOCK!! Of course I said YES!! And that's puts us to now...we are getting Married, August 1, 2009!!! I am so EXCITED!!
